So I'm shooting a new calendar.  It's for a friend as a gift to her boy friend.  I would really appreciate the feedback.  I've been struggling with light (as everyone does) and I'm trying to find homemade ways to use light.  I've been using industrial lights so far, but if you have more cheap ways, that'll be fantastic. - Josh

So, after more than a year of ill inspiration and lack of love in my photography, I've become INSPIRED! I'm producing and co-shooting a swimsuit calendar for the University of Utah (no official affiliation).  I have 3 well trained studio photographers (since I'm only trained in photojournalism) and I will assist in shooting as a co-photog. I'm VERY excited for this, and I will post my calendar up here as it unfolds.  I have been studying many Deviant Artists and their styles and believe this calendar will be fantastic. ....Also, I may be modeling for one of the spreads, so stay on top of it if you want to see my shirt off, haha. - Josh

I know I've been lazy on uploading my stuff.  I haven't shot anything I've been proud about lately, just speaker shots and event shots for the newspaper. BUT! I'm hoping to steal some equipment from work and shoot some snowboarding photos.  We'll see if I can pull it off... And I'm going to be breaking into the modeling photography!  I'm going to be following some friends of mine who are models for various angencies and shadow some photogs.  My first shoot, I'm going have a yellow '68 Mustang and hopefully either a solid blonde or bright red headed model for it.  I have 2 in mind right now, but I still haven't found the right model yet.
